Dehumidifiers
A dehumidifier is an appliance which reduces and maintains the level of humidity in the air, usually for health or comfort reasons, or to eliminate musty odor and to prevent the growth of mildew by extracting excessive moisture from the air.
Many of the most common allergy triggers, especially dust mites, mold, and mildew, thrive in humid environments. Whether you live in a humid climate, or you just have a living or commercial space that tends to be more humid, you may be suffering from these things. Small living spaces with limited ventilation, such as bathrooms or kitchens in a small apartment or basement apartments, are common areas where moisture can build up, even in dry climates.
Accessories
A vapor barrier is a material such as plastic or foil sheets used to prevent the circulation of ground, wall or ceiling moisture from entering the crawlspace air. Together with a waterproofing sealer, moisture and water can be removed from the crawlspace which will stop and eliminate the growth of rot, rust, mold, odors, insects and more. In the end, your crawlspace will reach a temperature level that is close to the living spaces above.
Sealants
Our waterproofing membrane is an advanced resin specifically designed for sealing and waterproofing concrete foundation walls. Use of sealant will eliminate the need of 6 mil pol, will stop leaks in nonstructural cracks as well as reduce potential mold growth.
Sump Pump Basin
The sump pump basin is designed to hold a sump pump to avoid having an open or loosely covered sump pit which is a safety hazard and a source of unpleasant odors. Additionally, an open sump pit allows debris and pests to fill into the sump hole and potentially clog the pump’s intake, increasing the risk of a flooded basement.
The CrawlspaceMart sump pump basin is designed to securely hold the sump pump while providing a clean appearance. The SuperLiner, combined with our airtight sump pump lid will keep odors, pests and radon gas out of the basement. A one-way floor drain in the lid allows water from leaks to drain into the sump pit.
Sump Pumps
A sump pump is designed to send water away from a house to any place where it is no longer problematic. A Sump pump is used in conjunction with a sump pump basin to pump (remove) used water collecting in the sump pump basin. It is ideal for basements or crawlspaces of a home.
